The Magnet Club was established in 1984 and took its name from the ubiquitous magnet emblem of John Smiths Ales. Previously, it had been the Naval Club and before Fareways – a very popular venue in its heyday.
One of the many acts to perform there – according to www.wrexham-history.com was Rory Storm and the Hurricanes which featured Ringo Starr!
Now fully brought in to the 21st century with satellite TV, digital jukebox with access to over 20,000 tunes. The Magnet Club welcomes both its traditional customers and those looking for a friendly, comfortable and safe venue in the centre of Wrexham.
